Pauline La Rue Hamilton was born August 24, 1922 and passed away on March 20, 2015. She was preceded in death by her husband of 48 years, Lt. Colonel Douglas W. Hamilton, her father, Paul J. Mosteller, mother, Violet Deming Mosteller and brother, Donald Paul Mosteller.

During her husband's Air Force career, she was active in the Officers' Wives' Club holding officer and committee positions. After his retirement, she began a career in real estate, becoming both a realtor and a broker. Following her husband's death, she became active in the Windcrest Womens'...

Pauline La Rue Hamilton was born August 24, 1922 and passed away on March 20, 2015. She was preceded in death by her husband of 48 years, Lt. Colonel Douglas W. Hamilton, her father, Paul J. Mosteller, mother, Violet Deming Mosteller and brother, Donald Paul Mosteller.

During her husband's Air Force career, she was active in the Officers' Wives' Club holding officer and committee positions. After his retirement, she began a career in real estate, becoming both a realtor and a broker. Following her husband's death, she became active in the Windcrest Womens' Club, for many years. She was a member of St. John Neumann Catholic Church where Pauline was the bridge chairman for over 15 years.

She is survived by her son, Ronald D. Hamilton, and his wife Dolores; three granddaughters, Sarah, Stephanie and Samantha Hamilton.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 31, 2015 beginning at 6:00 PM followed by the Rosary at 7:00 PM at Sunset Funeral Home on Austin Hwy. Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, April 1 at 9:45 AM at St. John Neumann Catholic Church with interment to follow at Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery. www.sunsetfuneralhomesa.com
