Linda Mack Haigler was born September 28, 1944. Her parents were Edward "Mack" Haigler and Ruth Doran Haigler. Linda is preceded in death by her parents, her sister Diane Elizabeth Haigler. She is survived by her sister Johnnie Ruth Morgan and husband Guy, her brother Crockett Burleson Haigler, her niece Dana Howes and husband Stephen, her niece Kay Friesenhahn and husband Troy, her great niece and nephews Morgan Howes, Collin Friesenhahn and Tanner Friesenhahn. Linda is also survived by her beloved Schnauzer Foxy.

Linda is also survived by her beloved Schnauzer Foxy.

Linda was born and raised in Del Rio, Texas in 1958 the family moved to San Antonio where Linda attended Edison High School graduating in 1962 as Salutatorian. Linda received an academic scholarship to Texas Christian University attending 2 years, she then attended Texas Tech University where she graduated summa cum laude with a bachelor's degree in Education in 1966. Linda began work at SAISD in 1966 teaching English, she continued her education at Incarnate Word College where she received a masters degree in English. Linda went on to teach at SAISD for 35 years retiring in 2001.

The family would like to thank Vitas Hospice, the staff at Brookdale-Alamo Heights and a special thanks to Trinidad and all of Linda's private caregivers.
