Dan Thomas Hitchcock born on October 21, 1953 in Gatesville, Texas, was called home to be with the Lord, on November 22, 2016, in San Antonio Texas at the age of 63. He is survived by his beloved wife Kathy L. Fruin, his loving daughters; Angela Hitchcock, Angela Beth Meiners (Darrin), Kristi Kaye Dobson (Jeremy), Becki Sue Babcock (Michael), Ashley Michele Hitchcock, his adoring grandchildren; Kade, Jadon, Brooke, Tylin, Chloe, Hailey, Jaymeson, Sidney, Jaxson, Logan, Jace, Matthew and his beloved brother Fred Hitchcock (Linda).

A visitation will be held at 12:30 p.m. on Tuesday, November 29, 2016 at Sunset Funeral Home, 1701 Austin Hwy. A funeral procession will depart the funeral home after a Chapel Service to begin at 1:30 p.m. with Interment to follow at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery at 3:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society at www.lls.org.
